LA LIBERTAD DE PRENSA EN VENEZUELA
Desde 1992 se han registrado cinco muertes relacionadas con el periodismo en Venezuela, así como cuatro más cuyo motivo es incierto. En total se contabilizaron 132 alertas (casos reportados), que sumaron un total de 173 violaciones contra la libertad de prensa en Venezuela, entre enero y septiembre de 2012. 63% de los casos fueron por agresiones físicas.
PRESS FREEDOM IN VENEZUELA
Since 1992 there have been five deaths related to journalism in Venezuela, as well as four others whose motive is unclear. In total there were 132 alerts (reported cases), which totaled 173 violations against freedom of press in Venezuela, between January and September 2012. 63% of the cases were for physical assault.
